At a very young age, Natalie Bradley created, owned, and operated one of the most successful wedding planning businesses. Hundreds of wedding professionals, such as planners, photographers, and floral designers, approached Natalie about teaching them how she rose to success so quickly and easily. Known as the Bride Attraction Expert, Natalie designed the Bride Attraction System to educate wedding professionals around the world about how to attract more brides, make more money, and have more freedom to enjoy it.


Challenge

While Bride Attraction was accomplishing amazing goals, it was time to dramatically scale up the business. Natalie needed to escalate PR efforts to showcase herself as an expert, promote the Bride Attraction blog and website worldwide, and grow the mailing list, but wasn’t sure which steps to take. She realized she needed to reach high numbers of people at once, which included launching herself on the speaking circuit, and she needed help getting more exposure in a variety of outlets including social media.


Solution

To support Bride Attraction’s goals to build its list, increase traffic to the website and blog, and boost sales of all products and services, Sūmèr created a comprehensive Life after Launch plan. Bride Attraction knew the target market segments they wanted to reach, so we determined where they congregated online, and then approached those gathering places. We found the key influencers online who, in turn, would share Natalie’s expertise with their readers and network.

Because Bride Attraction appeals to so many different types of wedding industry professionals, Sūmèr’s approach needed to be consistent and strategic. We positioned Bride Attraction as the solution for wedding businesses who needed to catch the attention of brides and convert them into well-paying clients.

Our campaigns aimed to generate coverage in online media—from radio and podcasts to key influencers and blogs. We also focused on launching Natalie onto the speaking circuit, knowing that if she got in front of people, she could sell.

This publicity would translate to high numbers of targeted traffic to the Bride Attraction website, which would in turn build the list and increase blog readership and subscriptions. The result would be more sales and further positioning of Natalie Bradley as the foremost Bride Attraction Expert. A secondary benefit would be continued exposure for Bride Attraction, even after the campaign’s end.


Results

Our Life after Launch campaign attracted substantial attention from radio, online publications, blogs, and social media, which has continued since the campaign ended. Bride Attraction has had several guest appearances on Blog Talk Radio, as well as on blogs and online magazines geared to the wedding industry, such as Top Wedding Sites and Ready. Set. Wed. Natalie writes a weekly post for the blog Elite Bridal Network, and she has a recurring vlog in the renowned Black Star Rising photography blog, both of which provide ongoing exposure.

Bride Attraction is now well known in the bridal industry and recognized by professionals in over two dozen wedding niche industries, such as DJs and boutique hotels. Natalie was named one of WedBiz Journal’s Top 10 Social Media Influencers in the Wedding Industry, and she contributes regularly to the magazine. She has had several speaking engagements and sold thousands of dollars from the stage. As more professionals discover Bride Attraction, its exposure and influence grow synergistically.

As a result of reaching out to key influencers and the overall media exposure, Bride Attraction has over 3,600 followers on Twitter and 3,200 fans on Facebook, all of whom translate into many inquiries a day. Blog readership has increased, and the sign-ups on the blog’s RSS feed have gone up at least 400%.
